Sports & Recreation Public Forum held July 19th

 Citizens concerned about youth sports and recreation facilities and programs for the children in northern Pinellas County attended this public forum on Monday July 19th at 7pm at the Crescent Oaks Country Club. The forum brought the stakeholders together in a moderated forum setting to discuss how to provide better facilities and programs for the youth in north Pinellas County. Members of the ELYSA board of directors, Commissioner Latvala, County Parks, Friends of Brooker Creek Preserve, YMCA, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers and CNCN directors were in attendance. Positive progress was made and a committee formed to expedite the process of forming a consensus and developing a workable plan to solve this decades old issue.
